Seminari del Centre de Recerca INSPIRES. "The green energy phenomenon"

El proper 19 de setembre, a la Sala de Graus (2.03) de l'Escola Politècnica Superior del Campus de Cappont, a les 13:30 hores, tindrà lloc el següent seminari del Centre de Recerca INSPIRES:

The Green Energy Phenomenon a càrrec d'en Brian Azzopardi Associate Professor Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania

Brian Azzopardi is Associate Professor at Kaunas University of Technology (www.ktu.lt) in Lithuania, member of the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering and the Renewable Energy Centre.

He has over 15 years of industrial and academic experience in engineering, on power systems, photovoltaic systems and electric vehicles. His research interests span on system engineering and energy economics. He is currently author of over 40 scientific publications. He works as an international expert, research and consultancy in several projects in energy and power systems and higher education.

He holds a Bachelor degree from The University of Malta and Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Manchester in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He also holds two certificates in Education and have a total of four professional qualifications in engineering: Inġ (Malta) and EUR Ing titles (FEANI), Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Energy Institute (EI) Chartered Energy Engineer titles. He is a member of the IEEE, IET, EI and RSC, and has held a number of visiting academic appointments at The University of Malta, Oxford Brookes University and The University of Manchester. He is the Founding President of the IET Lithuania Local Network.
